-Application is made through the university's online system (prihlaska.cvut.cz).
-Application fee: 950 CZK, paid separately for each program. It must be paid between January and March (deadline for the 2026 period is March 31).
--High school diploma (granting the right to enter the university, equivalence may be required).
-English proficiency certificate: IELTS minimum 5.5 or TOEFL minimum 65 (for English program applications).
-Admission is not possible without proving English proficiency in master's degree applications.
-Entrance exam in some faculties (mathematics, sciences) can be applied — the average acceptance rate is `-69.
-The specific requirements for the pilotage program are health suitability (Class I medical) and the financial situation to cover flight training expenses is expected (as a separate contract with the flight school is required).
- The two most popular dormitories: Strahov and Masarykova college — large complexes with their own gym, bar and student community.
-Other dormitories include Bubenec, a historic building near the center (Josef Hlávka design, 220 beds) and various dormitories in Prague 4-6 districts.
-Room types range from 1-4 people; some have an in-room bathroom-kitchen, some have a shared bathroom-kitchen per floor.
- Monthly fee range: approximately 4,900 – 8,000 CZK (varies depending on room type and dormitory) — average ~€200/month.
-New students are generally given shared rooms; A single room cannot be requested initially.
-Those who want to stay alone are offered the option of renting a double room for 1.5 times the price.
-Reservation: Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are received between 11 May and 1 June 2026, through the ISKAM4 system.
-Every new student is guaranteed a bed — this is the basic rule of the system.
-Passport for check-in. and passport photo required; A refundable deposit is paid to confirm the place.
-Graduates can stay in the dormitory for another 5 years after graduation, at a discounted price.
-Dormitories are generally close to the campus or easily accessible by public transportation; Including facilities such as internet and shared laundry.
